Last year, while Mike VK8ZMA was operating in Niger in West Africa as 5U7MA, he established EchoIRLP node 8191 for the duration of his deployment there. The node closed down in December of 2006 but has a new lease of life back at his home QTH of Katherine in the NT. The node has been resurrected as an experimental 10 metre combined EchoIRLP node operating on 29.120Mhz simplex
